Accountancy & Finance recruitment specialist supporting candidates and clients across Cambridgeshire. Our client in Ely is seeking a commercially astute finance professional with a passion for FP&A and business partnering.

You’ll partner with senior leadership to provide meaningful financial insights and strategic analysis that directly influence business performance. This is a hands-on role involving data analysis, development of key metrics, and robust reporting and forecasting.

• Deliver insightful financial analysis to support commercial and strategic decisions
• Lead month-end reporting with detailed commentary and board-level insights
• Track and optimise KPIs to monitor business performance
• Support cross-functional teams with financial modelling and project analysis
• Drive continuous improvement through process automation and system enhancements
• Build strong working relationships at all levels

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent) with 2+ years PQE
• Proven FP&A experience
• A confident and approachable personality with strong interpersonal skills
• Sharp judgement and an ability to assess character effectively
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical thinking
• A commercial mindset with a proactive approach to driving business improvements

You will need to spend the first few months working in the office every day to get to know the business, key stakeholders, and start building strong relationships through business partnering. A hybrid working arrangement can be reviewed after this initial 3-month period.
