The One Group are proud to be working with a global technology business who deliver intelligent propulsion systems across the Automotive, Aerospace and Marine industries who are looking to lead the new propulsion area and they are seeking an Electronics Technician to join their Test and Electronics team based in Northampton. You will have the opportunity to work a number of interesting projects to support and maintain all test facilities and multiple engineering programmes and are looking for talented individuals with the same drive and passion to join them. Working within a pivotal part of the business you will have a range of responsibilities which include manufacturing, testing, inspection, and servicing of wiring looms, sensors and actuators. Fault finding on wiring looms, electromechanical actuators and sensor harnesses and then undertaking repairs on them with the necessary equipment. Test and service of electrical and electromechanical engine components during engine rebuilds will also play a big part in this role. The client is looking for individuals who are competent with wiring harness assembly to motorsport or military specifications using the likes of Deutsch Auto-Sport and Raychem products as well as basic mechanical fitting and assembly skills, if you have an electronic qualification this will give you a distinct advantage. This role will be working Monday-Thursday 07:30am-4:30pm and Friday 07:30am-3:30pm with overtime available during busy periods.
