Senior Health, Safety and Environment Manager | £65,000 - £75,000 + Bonus | Peterborough
This will be your most challenging health and safety role yet.
It will also be your most rewarding. You’ll be stretched, challenged and given the opportunity to become a significantly better HSE leader.
This business take their health and safety very seriously.
It’s a complex, machinery-heavy site with numerous risks, a process you won’t be familiar with and a pace that does not relent.
It’s certainly not one for the faint hearted. But you’ve never fallen into that category, have you?
My client are doing something genuinely different in manufacturing. The process is unusual, the product is unique and the potential for further growth is enormous.
Your remit is simple to explain, but considerably harder to deliver.
You own the HSE agenda.
All of it.
You have a superb team of 2 around you, but the buck ultimately stops with you.
Due to the complex nature of manufacturing involved, there are some elements which you will need to learn.
You’ll need to be very organized in your approach.
Methodical, even.
You’ll have autonomy – real autonomy – but the expectation will be high.
What will you need?
- Significant experience at site HS&E Lead level in manufacturing – 5 years minimum
- NEBOSH Cert as a minimum, ideally Diploma or working towards
- Energy, pace & drive
- Exceptional organisation, attention to detail and follow-through
