We are recruiting a Marketing Assistant to join an established business who put science and research at the heart of their world. This is a hands-on, varied role supporting a busy and friendly marketing team across writing journals, basic updates to websites, email marketing, events and community activity.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the marketing team with campaign delivery across journals, websites, events, grants and special projects
- Coordinating activity across email, social media, digital and advertising channels
- Creating and managing marketing collateral and promotional materials
- Helping plan and schedule content and communications
- Providing administrative support to ensure campaigns and activities run smoothly
About you:
- Experience in a marketing, communications or publishing environment (or transferable marketing experience)
- Strong copywriting, proofreading and organisational skills
- Confident using Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Well organised, proactive and comfortable working on multiple projects at once
- A positive team player who enjoys supporting others
- Experience using WordPress, Google Analytics and Mailchimp (or similar websites, analytic tools and email marketing / CRM platforms)
