Salary: £40,000

Location: Peterborough (hybrid)

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Agile Business Change Analyst to join a dynamic organisation in a period of transformation and growth. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping solutions, driving change, and delivering value across multiple teams and departments.

About the Role

As an Agile Business Change Analyst, you’ll work closely with stakeholders, Product Owners, and cross-functional teams to analyse business requirements, define solutions, and deliver outcomes that enhance systems and processes. This role combines structured Agile delivery with stakeholder engagement, requiring someone who can balance technical detail with strategic vision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a proxy Product Owner during Agile ceremonies when needed
  • Support shaping of product vision, roadmap, and priorities
  • Elicit, document, and prioritise requirements into epics, features, and user stories (Azure DevOps)
  • Own and maintain the product backlog with clear acceptance criteria
  • Facilitate backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, and demos
  • Define and refine MVPs to deliver incremental value
  • Use UML to produce use cases, process flows, and sequence diagrams
  • Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure quality delivery
  • Drive effective stakeholder engagement and manage conflicting viewpoints
  • Support testing, documentation, and smooth handover to business users
  • Identify risks and feed into risk management structures
  • Coach and support business experts to adopt new processes and change mindsets

Skills & Experience Required

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst in Agile environments
  • Experience supporting or acting as a Product Owner
  • Hands-on knowledge of Azure DevOps (Boards, Backlogs, Dashboards)
  • Skilled in UML, use case modelling, and process mapping
  • Strong facilitation and stakeholder management skills
  • Knowledge of Agile delivery, DevOps principles, and software lifecycles
  • Excellent communication and influencing abilities
  • Able to work independently and manage workload effectively

Desirable

  • Experience with Miro or similar collaboration tools
  • Background in delivering change across diverse teams and functions

Working Model

Hybrid working between Peterborough, with flexibility built in (8 days per month).
