Assembly Technician – EV Batteries | Milton Keynes
Location: Milton Keynes (occasional travel to nearby site – company transport provided)
Contract: 6-month FTC | 37.5 hrs/week | Monday to Friday, 07:00–15:00

With a strong track record of excellence and a growing footprint in the energy transition space, they’re looking for a hands-on Assembly Technician to join their Milton Keynes operation on a 6-month contract.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Building and testing battery assemblies (mechanical + electrical)
- Using hand tools, machinery, and test equipment (e.g., volt meters)
- Reading technical drawings and work instructions with precision
- Supporting engineering trials and troubleshooting as needed
- Playing your part in continuous improvement and process development
- Keeping your work area clean, safe, and audit-ready
What We’re Looking For
- Experience with mechanical and electrical systems
- Able to read technical drawings and follow assembly/test instructions
- Skilled with tools, machinery, and safe working practices
- Comfortable working both independently and in a tight-knit team
- Previous battery assembly or testing experience is a bonus—but not essential
