Key ResponsibilitiesIn this field-based role, you’ll take full ownership of your region, managing sales activity and supporting projects from initial design to completion. You will:
- Promote technical product solutions to architects, specifiers, M&E engineers, installers, contractors, and building owners
- Track and influence key construction projects across all stages, from specification through to delivery
- Provide product training and demonstrations to clients, distributors, and project stakeholders
- Grow and maintain a network of loyal professional distributors
- Deliver consistent business development activity and achieve sales targets in your assigned territory
- Plan, prioritise, and organise customer visits and project follow-ups
- Act as a technical advisor and trusted partner to clients across sectors
We’re seeking experienced and proactive professionals who enjoy selling high-spec technical products and building lasting relationships. The ideal candidate will:
- Have 3+ years' experience in a technical sales or area sales manager role (preferably in construction, plumbing, HVAC, or building materials)
- Be commercially driven with strong project-following skills and a customer-first approach
- Be confident engaging with a variety of stakeholders, including specifiers, installers, and procurement teams
- Demonstrate autonomy, initiative, and self-discipline in managing their region effectively
- Have excellent communication and presentation skills, both face-to-face and remotely
- Be technically curious and eager to learn through hands-on experience and training
- Possess a full UK driving licence and willingness to travel frequently within the region
