The Accountancy & Finance Division at The ONE Group is currently working with a reputable FMCG Business in supporting them with recruiting an experienced Accounts Receivable Manager to lead our Accounts Receivable function, ensuring efficient cash collection, accurate processing of trade marketing deductions, and strong financial insight. This role is key to maintaining healthy cash flow and driving process improvements within a fast-paced finance environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and develop a team of four, overseeing recruitment, training, and daily operations.
- Own all aspects of AR including credit limits and credit insurance.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, especially around trade deduction processes.
- Deliver timely and accurate month-end activities (journals, reconciliations, reporting).
- Provide regular reporting and insight to key stakeholders.
- Lead coordination with internal and external audits, including SOX compliance.
- Monitor and report on AR KPIs.
Requirements:
- Proven leadership experience in an AR or Credit Control role.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with trade marketing deductions.
- Experience leading or ready to step into a leadership role in AR.
- Professional qualification or working towards one (e.g. CICM, AAT).
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar systems.
