Are you an experienced Accounts Assistant who enjoys a busy and varied role managing the bank and ledgers and working in an office based environment? Then this could be the ideal job for you. They offer nice benefits including an early finish on a Friday, company pension and flexible bank holidays.

Duties:

  • Sales ledger, sending out all sales invoices and statements and allocating the cash
  • Credit control, following up on any outstanding invoices, resolving issues and managing non payers
  • Reporting on aged debt weekly and highlighting any concerned accounts
  • Purchase ledger including entering invoices onto the system, getting authorisation to approve and preparing payment run
  • Reconciling the supplier statements
  • Managing the general ledger
  • Banking
  • Bank reconciliations and posting
  • Processing staff expenses

You will need to be able to confidently carry out all of the above duties and you may be AAT qualified, part qualified, a studier or QBE; your experience and team fit is the most important. If you have the relevant experience, are a good team player with a good work ethic and good Excel/systems skills, then please get in touch.

  • 35.5 hour working week, 9am-5pm Monday - Thursday and 9am - 3pm on a Friday
