The Accountancy & Finance Division at The ONE Group is excited to be partnering with a multi-entity business based near Towcester in recruiting for an ambitious Management Accountant. This is a broad role covering management accounts, month-end reporting, financial analysis, consolidation and stock accounting, with plenty of exposure across multiple entities and the wider business.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management accounts for allocated Group entities in line with reporting deadlines.
- Post and review month-end journals, accruals, prepayments and provisions.
- Own balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring they are accurate, well supported and review-ready.
- Investigate unusual movements, accounting issues and reconciling items.
- Support the Group consolidation process and preparation of consolidation schedules.
- Complete and review intercompany reconciliations and resolve differences between Group entities.
- Produce variance analysis against budget, forecast and previous periods.
- Provide clear commentary explaining the key drivers behind financial performance.
- Work with finance and non-finance stakeholders to understand performance and identify areas for improvement.
