Lyde Green Community School opens in September 2026. We are seeking a proactive and highly organised Operations Lead (and PA to the Headteacher) to shape the operational heartbeat of our new school as part of our founding team.
Position: Operations Lead (and PA to the Headteacher)
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time (37 hours/week, Monday to Friday)
Pay Scale: Grade 7 £36,363 to £39,152 per annum
Start Date: 1st January 2026
Responsibilities
- Provide high-level support to the Headteacher
- Lead planning and delivery of key events (e.g. open evenings, forums)
- Develop systems to support strategic and operational priorities
- Manage the admin team and coordinate support functions
- Act as a key contact for stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with policies (safeguarding, data protection, Health & Safety)
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Proactive, adaptable, and solutions-focused
- A confident communicator with strong organisational skills
- Experienced in office/operations management (ideally in education)
