The Role:

Are you passionate about the cutting edge of digital innovation? Do you dream in 3D, think in VR, and live for immersive experiences? Oldham College is seeking a creative and tech-savvy Immersive Technologist to revolutionise teaching and learning through immersive technologies. In this role, you will be at the forefront of integrating Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), Mixed Reality (MR), and game-based learning into our curriculum. You will collaborate with educators to design and deliver engaging digital experiences that enhance engagement, creativity, and employability for our learners.

Requirements:

  • A strong portfolio showcasing immersive or interactive digital projects.
  • Proficiency in Unity, Unreal Engine, Blender, or similar XR tools.
  • A degree in Games Design, Immersive Media, XR Development, or a related field.
  • Excellent problem-solving, UX design awareness, and communication skills.
  • A genuine interest in education and digital learning environments.
