We are looking for a Midday Supervisor to work as part of a team supervising pupils during the school lunch break, which includes attending to their welfare and domestic needs.
Key responsibilities:- Supervise pupils during lunch, ensuring their safety, wellbeing, and positive behaviour at all times
- Promote a calm, inclusive environment that encourages respectful play and social interaction
- Support the setup and clearing of dining and outdoor areas
- Manage behaviour in line with school policies, addressing issues promptly and fairly
- Assist with minor first aid and report any incidents or concerns to relevant staff
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with pupils and staff
- Ability and experience of managing behaviour positively and consistently in line with school policies
- A caring, proactive approach to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing with up to date training
- Teamwork skills with the confidence to work independently when required
- Basic first aid awareness (or willingness to train), good organisation, and a general education (e.g. GCSEs or equivalent), with prior school-based experience desirable
