Key Responsibilities
- Lead on pastoral care, behaviour and attendance for the year group.
- Provide targeted support and early intervention for vulnerable students.
- Collaborate with families, external agencies and staff to support student success.
- Monitor student progress, wellbeing and engagement.
- Promote a positive, inclusive and safe school culture.
Qualifications and Skills
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
- Safeguarding training (Level 2 or above; Level 3 desirable).
- Strong experience in pastoral care, behaviour or student support.
- Ability to manage challenging behaviour calmly and effectively.
- Excellent collaboration skills with staff, families and external agencies.
Salary and Hours
Pay range: SCP 22‑27 – £31,919.14‑£36,201.36; FTE: £33,699.00‑£38,220.00 – 37 hours per week, 42 weeks per year.
