The Oldham Academy North is a dynamic and inclusive 11-16 secondary academy located in Oldham. The role supports classroom teaching while you train through the SCITT programme.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver pre-set lesson materials across a range of subjects
  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
  • Take registers and supervise students throughout lessons
  • Support pupils to stay focused and complete set work
  • Uphold a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment

Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
  • A-Level qualifications or a degree (desirable)

Pay and Hours

Pay range: £25,152.73 – £27,284.70 (SCP12-17). FTE: £28,598.00 – £31,022.00. 37 hours, 39 weeks per year.
