We are seeking a motivated Team Leader to oversee the running of the factory in the absence of the Supervisor in Moulton, Spalding, Lincolnshire, PE12 6PP.

The Position

  • Provide cover for daily management of staff in designated areas.
  • Manage and organise the team of staff in designated area daily, ensuring they follow all dress, hygiene and work procedures as laid down in the Quality Manual.
  • Upon receipt of customer orders, issue details of customer, quantity, pack type to the factory and enter onto daily production records.
  • Enter any revised customer amendments to orders and immediately notify the factory.
  • Inform the Factory Manager/Supervisor and customer if any part of an order cannot be fulfilled.
  • Print labels and box ends in accordance with orders.
  • Inspect and verify each customer label against a reference sample.
  • Ensure all staff always work effectively, efficiently and follow all health & safety rules.
  • Maintain and review stock control and staff timesheets.
  • Supervise/oversee the running of the factory in the absence of the Supervisor and Jr supervisor.
  • Perform general computer work related to sales, production and stock records.
  • Comply with procedures laid down in the Quality Manual for Goldwood and ensure that product produced is to customer specification and legal requirements.
  • Ensure all staff are fully trained in all areas of production and are fully aware of health and safety procedures for each area.

  • Previous supervisory experience.
  • Effective communication skills with a good standard of spoken and written English language.
  • Self‑motivated and able to motivate others.
  • Quality focused with attention to detail and able to work to deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Adaptable/flexible to meet requirements and demands of production.
