The predicted salary is between 13 - 14 £ per hour.
This is a temporary position working till 31st October 2026 with potential opportunities of a permanent position at the end of the fixed term. You’ll be a key part of the team, making sure products and materials are moved safely, efficiently, and in the right place at the right time. You will help manage crop intake, move trailers, and keep everything flowing using a range of equipment.
What you'll be doing:
- Operating forklifts and other machinery to move produce and materials around site
- Loading, unloading, stacking, and storing items safely
- Keeping yards, storage areas, and waste zones clean and organised
- Carrying out routine checks on equipment (oil, fuel, tyres, etc.)
- Completing basic paperwork and using scanners for product tracking
- Supporting general site maintenance and helping other departments when needed
What we're looking for:
- B1 Counterbalance forklift licence (essential)
- Good understanding of site safety and load handling
- Physically fit and comfortable working indoors and outdoors
- Confident judging distances, heights, and weights
- Desirable: Telehandler, shunter, or other machinery experience
