A day in the life of a Guest Services Manager at our hotel includes:

  • Leading the F&B team with a positive vibe, helping create a welcoming and seamless service experience.
  • Overseeing daily shift activities, from setting up tables to making sure orders flow smoothly and guests are happy.
  • Supporting and guiding the team, helping with training and encouraging everyone to deliver their best.
  • Handling guest requests and resolving issues, keeping the service upbeat and responsive.
  • Coordinating with the kitchen and bar to keep things moving like clockwork.
  • Monitoring stock levels and assisting with inventory.
  • Keeping the dining and service areas clean and compliant, with an eye on health and safety.
  • Leading the front office team to deliver outstanding guest service.
  • Addressing guest needs promptly and professionally.
  • Overseeing daily front office operations, including check-in/out processes and room assignment accuracy.
  • Recruiting, training, and mentoring front desk staff.
  • Acting as the primary contact for guest concerns.
  • Managing front office budgets and controlling expenses.
  • Maintaining records of occupancy, rates, and guest profiles.
  • Motivating the team to achieve upselling targets.
  • Ensuring front desk operations comply with hotel safety standards.
