To be considered for this role, you must hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Please note: we are unable to offer sponsorship for this role.

Pay: £27,164 - £27,476 per Annum based on experience (40 hours per week).
Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 8am-6pm.

About our Nursery
Wellingborough nursery children are very much a part of the local community and we are lucky to have Croyland Park on the other side of our boundary fence, where we feed the ducks and use the play equipment. Our nursery is made up of 4 rooms - a 13 place baby room, 16 place toddler room and 2 preschool rooms which can hold up to 32 children. Each room has its own garden space too! Wellingborough Day Nursery is situated on Croyland Road next to Croyland Park. The nursery is within walking distance of the town and a five-minute drive from the A45. There is staff parking available.
What Your Role Involves
- Create a warm, fun, and nurturing environment where children feel safe and thrive.
- Plan and deliver engaging, play‑based activities aligned with the EYFS framework.
- Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Monitor and celebrate children’s development milestones, keeping records to share with parents.
- Support the day‑to‑day running of the nursery, maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and care.
- Be a team player, offering guidance to apprentices and volunteers while learning from others.
