Experience working in a childcare setting is required for this role. A Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification is desirable but not essential.
Pay: £12.71- £13.24 per hour plus accrued holiday pay
Working Hours: Zero hour contract - This gives you flexibility to work different shifts each week depending on the Nursery needs, between 8am-6pm - Monday to Friday.

About our Nursery: Located in the market town of Waterlooville, Queenswood Lodge day nursery is set within a converted family home that has been refurbished into a modern nursery with abundant indoor and outdoor space for children to take their first steps into education through exploration and discovery. The nursery is located on the A3 London Road. We are within easy reach of the A3(M) to go South to Portsmouth or North towards Petersfield. There is a car park available for the team.
What Your Role Involves:
- Create a warm, fun, and nurturing environment where children feel safe and thrive.
- Plan and deliver engaging, play-based activities aligned with the EYFS framework.
- Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Monitor and celebrate children’s development milestones, keeping records to share with parents.
- Support the day-to-day running of the nursery, maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and care.
