To be considered for this role, you must hold a minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Please note: we are unable to offer sponsorship for this role.

Pay £27,393 – £27,955 per annum based on experience (40 hours per week).

About Our Nursery Good Manors Day Nursery Miller Drive, located in the heart of the Uplands community, provides stimulating activities that encourage learning and development. We may look small from the front of our building, but we are actually fortunate to have lots of lovely garden space, which is split into three areas with age‑appropriate resources including a climbing frame, climbing wall, sand pit, mud kitchen and a playhouse. The garden also has a retractable awning, allowing safe, all‑day access even in summer. We are located on Miller Drive, just a short walk from Fareham leisure centre and Uplands School. We are close to the A27 and a short distance from Fareham train station. We have parking directly outside the nursery for convenience.

What Your Role Involves

  • Create a warm, fun, and nurturing environment where children feel safe and thrive.
  • Plan and deliver engaging, play‑based activities aligned with the EYFS framework.
  • Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Monitor and celebrate children’s development milestones, keeping records to share with parents.
  • Support the day‑to‑day running of the nursery, maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and care.
  • Be a team player, offering guidance to apprentices and volunteers while learning from others.
