A Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification is required for this role. Please note: we are unable to offer sponsorship for this role.
Pay: £13.52- £14.53 per Hour depending on experience plus accrued holiday pay
Working Hours: Zero hour contract - This gives you flexibility to work different shifts each week depending on the Nursery needs, between 8am-6pm - Monday to Friday.

About our Nursery: Sunhill Day Nursery Royston is a bright, purpose-built, premium nursery offering three distinct learning enhancements for our children: Montessori, organic growing and food and child-friendly cooking classes. These important learning experiences help set our Royston nursery apart from others by equipping children with a deep understanding of the environment, sustainable living, and the exciting process of cooking with their own organic produce. Our nursery is made up of 4 rooms – our baby room, toddler room, 2-3 year olds and pre-school. Free onsite parking – accessible from the A10 and A505. If you don't drive, we are within walking distance of the train station (train lines running from Cambridge to London).
What Your Role Involves: As a valued member of our team, you’ll:
- Create a warm, fun, and nurturing environment where children feel safe and thrive.
- Plan and deliver engaging, play-based activities aligned with the EYFS framework.
- Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Monitor and celebrate children’s development milestones, keeping records to share with parents.
- Support the day-to-day running of the nursery, maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and care.
