No qualifications are required for this role - Previous experience working in a childcare setting would be beneficial.

About our Nursery
Our day nursery is set in a two-storey period property in the coastal town of Ramsgate. The Grange Montessori Nursery provides a home-from-home environment where children thrive. Our Ofsted-rated ‘Outstanding’ nursery offers children a rich, enabling environment where qualified nursery practitioners passionately nurture and develop their unique personalities and characters. Our bright and airy rooms have high ceilings, and our large, secure garden is suitable for all ages and weather conditions. Together, these create a spacious environment for children to engage in hands‑on learning and make creative choices, guided by our attentive Montessori teacher. The Grange Montessori Nursery is situated on West Cliff Road, a short stroll from Ramsgate town centre. The nursery has excellent transport links from the town centre and a bus stop right outside the front. Parking is available outside the nursery.
What Your Role Involves
As a valued member of our team, you’ll:
- Create a warm, fun, and nurturing environment where children feel safe and thrive.
- Plan and deliver engaging, play-based activities aligned with the EYFS framework.
- Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Monitor and celebrate children’s development milestones, keeping records to share with parents.
- Support the day-to-day running of the nursery, maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and care.
- Be a team player, offering guidance to apprentices and volunteers while learning from others.
