Pay: £12.71 - £14.53 per hour depending on experience plus an additional 13.54% accrued holiday pay entitlement
Hours: Flexible zero hours contract. Whether you’re looking for occasional shifts or more regular work, opportunities are available Monday–Friday between 8am–6pm depending on nursery needs.

Where You'll Be Working: Built with the purpose of providing children with a safe and secure environment, The Old Station Nursery Oxford offers a welcoming space for all families. The nursery is a bright and spacious building, complemented by a beautiful garden area that encourages outdoor play and promotes active lifestyles among the children. Inside, there are three age-appropriate rooms, each led by a passionate and friendly team. These rooms have been thoughtfully designed to enhance children’s development according to their age group. Our nursery thrives on being unique, offering individualised learning to adapt to the needs of our children. We offer a range of extracurricular activities including the Brighter Learning Clubs, Tatty Bumpkin and Sporty Minis. Conveniently located in the Sadler Building beside the brasserie within Oxford Science Park, The Old Station Nursery Oxford is ideal for local working families. Follow the park's 'Nursery' signposts. Enjoy easy access by foot or local buses that stop nearby.
What You'll Be Doing: As part of our Bank Nursery Team, you’ll support children and colleagues across the nursery as and when needed - whether that’s covering holidays, supporting during busy periods, or helping provide consistency for children when teams need extra support. No two days are ever quite the same - and that’s part of the joy. One moment you could be building dens outdoors and the next you’ll be helping bring story time to life. You’ll support children through play, creativity, curiosity, and connection while helping create a safe, nurturing environment where they feel happy, valued, and confident to explore.
What We’re Looking For: Experience working in a childcare or Early Years setting, a Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification is desirable but not essential. We’re looking for people with big hearts, curious minds, and a genuine passion for supporting children’s growth and development.
