To be considered for this role, you must hold a Level 2/3 Early Years qualification or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). We are unable to offer sponsorship for this role.

Pay: £27,393- £27,955 per annum based on experience (40 hours per week).
Working Hours: Monday to Friday - 38 hours - AYR between hours 7.30am-6:00pm, No set shift pattern.

About our Nursery
Our small, and perfectly formed nursery in Margate offers our local community an Ofsted rated ‘Outstanding’ nursery in a meticulously crafted environment that fosters children’s connections with the world around them, themselves, and their peers. We are a close-knit team with children, staff and our parents all knowing one another. Inside our nursery in Margate, you will find three thoughtfully designed rooms, each equipped with age-appropriate resources tailored to meet the developmental needs of every child. Townsend Montessori Nursery Margate is situated just a short walk from Margate town centre and Margate train station, on Cowper Road. Parking is available to the team on the roads close to the nursery.
What Your Role Involves
- Create a warm, fun, and nurturing environment where children feel safe and thrive.
- Plan and deliver engaging, play-based activities aligned with the EYFS framework.
- Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Monitor and celebrate children’s development milestones, keeping records to share with parents.
- Support the day-to-day running of the nursery, maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and care.
- Be a team player, offering guidance to apprentices and volunteers while learning from others.
