Experience working in a childcare setting is required for this role. A Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification is desirable but not essential.

Pay: £12.71 - £13.44 per hour *plus accrued holiday pay

Working Hours: Zero hour contract - This gives you flexibility to work different shifts each week depending on the Nursery needs, between 8am-6pm - Monday to Friday.

Location: The Avenues Montessori Nursery, 406 Northdown Road, Margate, Kent, CT9 3PG

About our Nursery: The Avenues Montessori Nursery is situated in the charming Cliftonville area of Margate. Our nursery features two well-equipped and stimulating rooms, designed to provide an optimal learning environment. With free-flow access to a garden space, children have ample opportunities to explore and discover at their own pace. The Avenues Montessori Nursery is situated on Northdown Road, Cliftonville and is only a short walk from Margate town centre. Parking is available on the roads close to the nursery.

What Your Role Involves:

  • Create a warm, fun, and nurturing environment where children feel safe and thrive.
  • Plan and deliver engaging, play-based activities aligned with the EYFS framework.
  • Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Monitor and celebrate children’s development milestones, keeping records to share with parents.
  • Support the day-to-day running of the nursery, maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and care.
