Where You'll Be Working: The Old Station Nursery Filkins, nestled in the heart of Filkins village near Lechlade, provides exceptional childcare in a charming rural community setting. Housed in the historic Old Village School, our nursery offers a nurturing environment for children aged two to five years. We have recently expanded our care with the opening of a brand-new 9-place baby room, providing a warm and supportive space for our youngest learners. Situated at the heart of the local community, children enjoy frequent visits to St. Peter’s Church and the serene Filkins Park.

What You'll Be Doing: As part of our Bank Nursery Team, you’ll support children and colleagues across the nursery as and when needed – whether that’s covering holidays, supporting during busy periods, or helping provide consistency for children when teams need extra support. No two days are ever quite the same – and that’s part of the joy. One moment you could be building dens outdoors and the next you’ll be helping bring story time to life. You’ll support children through play, creativity, curiosity, and connection while helping create a safe, nurturing environment where they feel happy, valued, and confident to explore.

What We’re Looking For: Experience working in a childcare or Early Years setting; a Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification is desirable but not essential. We’re looking for people with big hearts, curious minds, and a genuine passion for supporting children’s growth and development.
