To be considered for this role, you must hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Please note: we are unable to offer sponsorship for this role.

Townsend Montessori Nursery Herne Bay is situated just off the B2205 Sea Street, on Beaumont Street. The setting is only a short walk from Hampton Primary School and Herne Bay town centre. There is ample off-street parking for the team. Step inside and discover two spacious rooms meticulously designed to create a serene and inviting atmosphere. Each room is equipped with a wide array of engaging resources, providing abundant opportunities for children to play and learn. Our outdoor space is a highlight, featuring a dedicated forest area that invites natural exploration and hands-on learning experiences.

What Your Role Involves

  • Create a warm, fun, and nurturing environment where children feel safe and thrive.
  • Plan and deliver engaging, play-based activities aligned with the EYFS framework.
  • Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Monitor and celebrate children’s development milestones, keeping records to share with parents.
  • Support the day-to-day running of the nursery, maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and care.
  • Be a team player, offering guidance to apprentices and volunteers while learning from others.
