Pay: £12.71 - £13.24 per hour depending on experience. Plus an additional 13.54% accrued holiday pay entitlement.
Hours: Flexible zero hours contract. Whether you’re looking for occasional shifts or more regular work, opportunities are available Monday–Friday between 8am–6pm depending on nursery needs.
Location: Good Manors Day Nursery, Queenswood Lodge, 223 London Road, Waterlooville, Hampshire, PO8 8DA.
Where You'll Be Working: Located in the market town of Waterlooville, Queenswood Lodge day nursery is set within a converted family home that has been refurbished into a modern nursery with abundant indoor and outdoor space for children to take their first steps into education through exploration and discovery. The nursery is located on the A3 London Road. We are within easy reach of the A3(M) to go South to Portsmouth or North towards Petersfield. There is a car park available for the team.
What You'll Be Doing: As part of our Bank Nursery Team, you’ll support children and colleagues across the nursery as and when needed - whether that’s covering holidays, supporting during busy periods, or helping provide consistency for children when teams need extra support. No two days are ever quite the same - and that’s part of the joy. One moment you could be building dens outdoors and the next you’ll be helping bring story time to life. You’ll support children through play, creativity, curiosity, and connection while helping create a safe, nurturing environment where they feel happy, valued, and confident to explore.
What We’re Looking For: Experience working in a childcare or Early Years setting, a Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification is desirable but not essential. We’re looking for people with big hearts, curious minds, and a genuine passion for supporting children’s growth and development.
