To be considered for this role, you must hold a minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Please note: we are unable to offer sponsorship for this role.

About our Nursery
Townsend Montessori Nursery Faversham is located on Jubilee Way, which backs onto the Faversham recreation ground. The setting is a short drive from Faversham train station and within walking distance to the town centre with parking available on site. At our children’s nursery, we focus on learning through year-round outdoor play within our large garden and natural forest area. We have 4 rooms in our nursery: Bluebells (under 2’s room), Poppies (2 year old room), and 2 Pre-School rooms (Daisies and Tulips) for children age 3 years until they go to school. We do cookery with the children every day as well as Montessori activities, and the children adore this time.
What Your Role Involves
- Create a warm, fun, and nurturing environment where children feel safe and thrive.
- Plan and deliver engaging, play-based activities aligned with the EYFS framework.
- Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Monitor and celebrate children’s developmental milestones, keeping records to share with parents.
- Support the day-to-day running of the nursery, maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and care.
- Be a team player, offering guidance to apprentices and volunteers while learning from others.
