At Iver, we’re looking for an enthusiastic Nursery Room Leader to guide and support our team in providing outstanding care and education. In this rewarding leadership role, you’ll have the opportunity to mentor, nurture, and create a positive impact for children, families, and your colleagues.

To be considered for this role, you must hold a Level 3 Early Years qualification or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Please note: we are unable to offer sponsorship for this role.

About our Nursery

The Old Station Nursery Iver, conveniently located on Iver High Street, has been a part of the local community for over 20 years. Iver is a lovely two‑storey nursery set within a converted church building, with a well‑resourced outdoor area, encouraging an active lifestyle and outdoor play. At The Old Station Nursery Iver, we offer excellent nursery care with the addition of three distinct learning enhancements for our children; these are child‑friendly cooking classes and language lessons, both delivered in a Montessori inspired way that fosters strong connections between children and the world around them. The nursery is easily accessible with plenty of parking available off street. The staff wellbeing is most paramount and all staff are supported well in stepping up to their next roles with tailored training in place to reach best potential in their professional journey. We celebrate the team spirit and are so very proud of our wonderful team.

What being a Nursery Room Leader involves

  • Supporting the Nursery Manager to ensure smooth nursery operations and consistent quality.
  • Acting as a role model by promoting initiative, creativity, and high standards of care.
  • Building strong relationships with families, colleagues, and external agencies to support the best outcomes for children.
  • Overseeing the team’s implementation of the EYFS framework, ensuring engaging learning opportunities.
  • Taking charge of nursery operations in the Nursery Manager’s absence.
  • Encouraging continuous improvement through feedback and supporting professional development.
  • Maintaining a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that meets each child’s needs.
