To be considered for this role, you must hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Please note: we are unable to offer sponsorship for this role.

Pay: £27,164- £27,539 per annum based on experience (40 hours per week).

Working Hours: 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

About our Nursery

Located in River, in the outskirts of Dover off the A256, we are surrounded by beautiful countryside, inspiring our free-flow indoor to outdoor environment. We have two open-plan ground floor rooms with plenty of space. Our garden has a large area to explore too. We use the natural environment to enhance our children’s experiences of the natural world whether it is letting off steam in the grassed area or riding bikes and using balance beams in the flat rubber tarmac area. Free parking is available for our team too.

What Your Role Involves

  • Create a warm, fun, and nurturing environment where children feel safe and thrive.
  • Plan and deliver engaging, play-based activities aligned with the EYFS framework.
  • Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Monitor and celebrate children’s development milestones, keeping records to share with parents.
  • Support the day-to-day running of the nursery, maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and care.
  • Be a team player, offering guidance to apprentices and volunteers while learning from others.
