To be considered for this role, you must hold a Level 3 Early Years qualification or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Please note: we are unable to offer sponsorship for this role.

About our Nursery
Nestled in the charming village of Poppleton, our nursery is a haven for outdoor exploration and learning in nature. Each day, we welcome up to 43 children into our nurturing environment designed to feel like a second home. We prioritise natural, locally sourced, and organic products in our meals and skincare, ensuring everything is free from unnecessary additives – it’s part of the Little Green Rascals ethos. We are situated on the main street in Poppleton, just 5 mins off the A59 and York outer ring road with parking available too.
What Your Role Involves
- Create a warm, fun, and nurturing environment where children feel safe and thrive.
- Plan and deliver engaging, play-based activities aligned with the EYFS framework.
- Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Monitor and celebrate children’s development milestones, keeping records to share with parents.
- Support the day-to-day running of the nursery, maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and care.
- Be a team player, offering guidance to apprentices and volunteers while learning from others.
