A Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is desirable for this role.

Pay: £12.71- £14.94 per Hour plus accrued holiday pay

Working Hours: Monday to Friday. Zero hour contract - this gives you flexibility to work different shifts each week depending on the Nursery needs.

Location: The Old Station Nursery Granta Park, Granta Park, Great Abington, Cambridgeshire, CB21 6GP

About our Nursery: The Old Station Nursery Granta Park is a premium nursery offering four extra learning enhancements for our children; these are Organic growing, Cookery and Language lessons; all delivered in a Montessori inspired way which encourages practical learning at each child’s unique pace. The nursery is located in Granta Park, conveniently located just 5 minutes from M11/A505 junction with quick access to central Cambridge with ample parking. It is a truly unique setting with an onsite Gym and Restaurant that our team benefit from a 50% discount as well as beautiful walks to take on your lunchbreak.

What Your Role Involves: As a valued member of our team, you’ll:

  • Create a warm, fun, and nurturing environment where children feel safe and thrive.
  • Plan and deliver engaging, play-based activities aligned with the EYFS framework.
  • Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Monitor and celebrate children’s development milestones, keeping records to share with parents.
  • Support the day-to-day running of the nursery, maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and care.
