Join Our Team as a Bank Nursery Practitioner! Zero Hours - Flexible Contract

Experience working in a childcare setting is required for this role. A Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification is desirable but not essential.
Pay: £12.71 - £13.21 per hour plus accrued holiday pay
Working Hours: Zero hour contract - This gives you flexibility to work different shifts each week depending on the Nursery needs, between 8am-6pm - Monday to Friday.
Location: 19 Woodland Road, Northfield, Birmingham, West Midlands, B31 2HU
About our Nursery: Our Northfield nursery is right in the heart of our community. Inside, the nursery has six rooms which are equally split into areas to accommodate babies, toddlers and pre-school. All the rooms have plenty of space to explore and investigate, as well as to promote children’s curiosity and their drive to learn new things. We are located in a quiet residential area of Northfield, just off the A38 and a short distance from Northfield Train Station, providing easy access for anyone commuting into Birmingham. Parking is available outside for convenience.
What Your Role Involves:
- Create a warm, fun, and nurturing environment where children feel safe and thrive.
- Plan and deliver engaging, play-based activities aligned with the EYFS framework.
- Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Monitor and celebrate children’s development milestones, keeping records to share with parents.
- Support the day-to-day running of the nursery, maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and care.
