Join Our Team as a Bank Nursery Practitioner! (Zero Hours - Flexible Contract)

Experience working in a childcare setting is required for this role. A Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification is desirable but not essential.
Please note: we are unable to offer sponsorship for this role.
Pay: £13.06 - £13.21 per hour depending on experience *plus accrued holiday pay
Working Hours: Zero hour contract - This gives you flexibility to work different shifts each week depending on the Nursery needs, between 8am-6pm - Monday to Friday.
Location: Sandhills Day Nursery Wombourne, Yew Tree Court, Maypole Street, Wombourne, Staffordshire, WV5 9JB
About our Nursery
Our purpose-built nursery in Wombourne Village provides a safe and secure environment where children can explore exciting areas specifically designed just for them. With our main building accommodating most children and a cozy annex for our babies, our nursery features a fresh and modern design, offering plenty of room for children to express themselves creatively. We are located opposite the village green in Yew Tree Court, clearly sign posted from the one-way system around the village green. We have a carpark at the front of the nursery with on-street parking and non-chargeable carparks located within the village if required.
What Your Role Involves
- Create a warm, fun, and nurturing environment where children feel safe and thrive.
- Plan and deliver engaging, play-based activities aligned with the EYFS framework.
- Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Monitor and celebrate children’s development milestones, keeping records to share with parents.
- Support the day-to-day running of the nursery, maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and care.
