Join Our Team as a Nursery Room Leader in our lovely Pre-school Room! Are you ready to lead with passion, inspire young minds, and make a lasting difference in children’s lives? At Wellesbourne, we’re looking for an enthusiastic Nursery Room Leader to guide and support our team in providing outstanding care and education. In this rewarding leadership role, you’ll have the opportunity to mentor, nurture, and create a positive impact for children, families, and your colleagues.

To be considered for this role, you must hold a Level 3 Early Years qualification or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) along with previous experience working within a nursery setting. SENCO Qualification Preferable But Not Essential.

Pay: up to £30,305 per annum, based on experience (40 hours per week).

Working Hours: Full‑time over 4 days per week, Monday to Friday. 38 hours (8am‑6pm) or 40 hours (7:30am‑6:00pm).

About Our Nursery: Our beautiful nursery in Wellesbourne offers a premium nursery experience with 3 additional enhancements: Forest School, an organic lifestyle and cooking. Our Wellesbourne nursery children love their days with us and set out on the next stage of their education equipped with the life‑long skills gained from being in a Forest School and organic growing environment, as well as confidence around cooking and handling ingredients. Each room has its own dedicated outdoor space that the children have access to all day, every day.

What Being a Nursery Room Leader Involves:

  • Leading and mentoring the team to provide high‑quality early years education with passion and energy.
  • Supporting the Nursery Manager to ensure smooth nursery operations and consistent quality.
  • Acting as a role model by promoting initiative, creativity, and high standards of care.
  • Building strong relationships with families, colleagues, and external agencies to support the best outcomes for children.
  • Overseeing the team’s implementation of the EYFS framework, ensuring engaging learning opportunities.
  • Taking charge of nursery operations in the Nursery Manager’s absence.
  • Encouraging continuous improvement through feedback and supporting professional development.
  • Maintaining a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that meets each child’s needs.
