At Wellesbourne, we’re looking for a Level 2 or Level 3 Qualified Nursery Practitioner to join our team. Bring your enthusiasm, creativity, and dedication, and let’s make a difference together!
To be considered for this role, you must hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Own transport and full UK driving licence is essential due to the rural location of our nursery. Note: we are unable to offer sponsorship for this role.

Pay: Up to £28,184 per Annum, based on experience (40 hours per week).
Working Hours: Full-time 40 hours over 4 days, Monday to Friday from 8am-6pm.

About Our Nursery
Our beautiful nursery in Wellesbourne offers a premium nursery experience with 3 additional enhancements: Forest School, Organic lifestyle and Cookery. Our Wellesbourne nursery children love their days with us and set out on the next stage of their education equipped with life-long skills gained from being in a Forest School and organic growing environment, as well as confidence around cookery and handling ingredients. Each room has its own dedicated outdoor space that the children have access to all day, every day. Located on the Wellesbourne campus of Warwick University HRI, on Charlecote Road, just off the A429. There is ample parking on-site, with a car park on campus.
What Your Role Involves
- Create a warm, fun, and nurturing environment where children feel safe and thrive.
- Plan and deliver engaging, play-based activities aligned with the EYFS framework.
- Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Monitor and celebrate children’s development milestones, keeping records to share with parents.
- Support the day-to-day running of the nursery, maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and care.
- Be a team player, offering guidance to apprentices and volunteers while learning from others.
