At Queenswood Lodge, we’re looking for a Level 2 or Level 3 Qualified Nursery Practitioner to join our team. Bring your enthusiasm, creativity, and dedication, and let’s make a difference together!

To be considered for this role, you must hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Please note: we are unable to offer sponsorship for this role.

Pay: £27,164- £27,539 per annum based on experience (40 hours per week).

Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday – 9hr shifts between 8am and 6pm.

Location: Good Manors Day Nursery Queenswood Lodge, 223 London Road, Waterlooville, Hampshire, PO8 8DA.

About our Nursery

Located in the market town of Waterlooville, Queenswood Lodge day nursery is set within a converted family home that has been refurbished into a modern nursery with abundant indoor and outdoor space for children to take their first steps into education through exploration and discovery. The nursery is located on the A3 London Road. We are within easy reach of the A3(M) to go South to Portsmouth or North towards Petersfield. There is a car park available for the team.

What Your Role Involves

  • Create a warm, fun, and nurturing environment where children feel safe and thrive.
  • Plan and deliver engaging, play-based activities aligned with the EYFS framework.
  • Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Monitor and celebrate children’s development milestones, keeping records to share with parents.
  • Support the day-to-day running of the nursery, maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and care.
  • Be a team player, offering guidance to apprentices and volunteers while learning from others.
