About our Nursery

Our nursery is beautifully situated in front of the River Colne, offering stunning views and a natural environment full of wildlife. The children love making the most of this unique setting—whether it’s spotting birds and animals on walks or observing nature through the windows with their binoculars. We’re also proud to welcome a mobile library that visits the nursery regularly, giving children the opportunity to exchange books and enjoy a wide variety of texts, nurturing a love for reading from an early age. For our preschool children, we offer Super Star Sports sessions where they develop essential physical skills such as ball control, spatial awareness, and problem-solving through fun obstacle courses and structured activities using a range of equipment. We have three rooms in our nursery: the Baby Room (0–2 years), Toddler Room (2–3 years), and Preschool Room (3–5 years), each designed to support children at their specific stage of development.

The Old Station Nursery is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, and we expect all applicants to share this commitment. All roles are subject to enhanced DBS checks, satisfactory references, and verification of your right to work in the UK and any essential qualifications. If successful, our recruitment and compliance team will guide you through every step of the onboarding process. We are an inclusive employer and welcome applications from all backgrounds.
