Join our team at The Old Station Nursery Group! We’re looking for a Nursery Practitioner to join Little Green Rascals Minster Yard, a unique nursery located at 7 Minster Yard, York, North Yorkshire, YO1 7JD. Bring your enthusiasm, creativity, and dedication to make a difference in the lives of children.
Pay: Up to £25,396 per annum (based on experience, 40 hours per week)
Working Hours: 38 hours over 4 days, Monday – Friday, 8 am – 6 pm
Location: Little Green Rascals Minster Yard, 7 Minster Yard, York, North Yorkshire, YO1 7JD

Responsibilities:
- Create a warm, fun, and nurturing environment where children feel safe and thrive.
- Plan and deliver engaging, play‑based activities aligned with the EYFS framework.
- Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Monitor and celebrate children’s development milestones, keeping records to share with parents.
- Support the day‑to‑day running of the nursery, maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and care.
- Be a team player, offering guidance to apprentices and volunteers while learning from others.
Qualifications:
- No qualifications are required. Previous experience working within a childcare setting is preferred.
- We are unable to offer sponsorship for this role.
