To be considered for this role: You must hold a Level 3 Early Years qualification and have previous leadership experience within a Nursery setting. This role will require opening and locking up the nursery in turn with the Nursery Manager. Please note: we are unable to offer sponsorship for this role.

What Being a Deputy Nursery Manager Involves: As a Deputy Nursery Manager, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting the Nursery Manager to lead and inspire your team while maintaining excellence in your base room responsibilities. You will:
- Lead and mentor the nursery team to deliver high-quality early years education with pride and energy.
- Support the Nursery Manager in overseeing all aspects of nursery operations, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Act as a role model, fostering an environment of initiative, creativity, and high standards of care.
- Build strong partnerships with families, colleagues, and external agencies to promote collaboration and excellent outcomes for children.

About Our Nursery: Our Wylde Green Day Nursery is nestled in the heart of Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham. Our nursery exudes a warm, community spirit, focusing on teaching children valuable lessons about themselves and the world around them. Our spacious open plan nursery means you will be working with a mix of ages from 1‑5. Wylde Green nursery is situated just off the A452 Chester Road and only a 3‑minute walk from Chester Road train station. The nursery has a small car park outside and ample parking on the adjoining roads. We are located directly opposite Wylde Green Primary School.
