About Our Nursery

The nursery is a purpose‑built facility opened at the end of 2021, light and airy, with an allotment space that fosters a love for sustainable planting. It is close to Houlton Play Park and the new Co‑op, with easy access to Crick Road and a nearby car park.

What Your Role Involves

• Create a warm, fun, and nurturing environment where children feel safe and thrive.
• Plan and deliver engaging, play‑based activities aligned with the EYFS framework.
• Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Monitor and celebrate children’s development milestones, keeping records to share with parents.
• Support the day‑to‑day running of the nursery, maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and care.

Qualifications

• No Qualifications Required, Previous Childcare Experience Is Essential.
• Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) would be an advantage.
