Our small, and perfectly formed nursery in Margate offers our local community an Oftsed rated ‘Outstanding’ nursery in a meticulously crafted environment that fosters children’s connections with the world around them, themselves, and their peers.

We are a close‑knit team with children, staff and our parents all knowing one another.

Inside our nursery in Margate, you will find three thoughtfully designed rooms, each equipped with age‑appropriate resources tailored to meet the developmental needs of every child.

Townsend Montessori Nursery Margate is situated just a short walk from Margate town centre and Margate train station, on Cowper Road.

Parking is available to the team on the roads close to the nursery.

  • Create a warm, fun, and nurturing environment where children feel safe and thrive.
  • Plan and deliver engaging, play‑based activities aligned with the EYFS framework.
  • Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Monitor and celebrate children’s development milestones, keeping records to share with parents.
  • Support the day‑to‑day running of the nursery, maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and care.
  • Be a team player, offering guidance to apprentices and volunteers while learning from others.
