To be considered for this role, you must hold a Level 3 Early Years qualification or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

Pay

£29,016 - £29,016 per Annum, £13.95 Per hour

40 hours over four days. Working 8am-6pm

About Our Nursery

Little Oaks Day Nursery in Malvern, is one of the only purpose-built nurseries in the local area, providing high quality childcare in a stimulating learning environment.

The nursery is a proud owner of Millie’s Mark, which is awarded as a special endorsement to local childcare providers that go above and beyond minimum requirements by having 100% of staff trained in paediatric first aid.

The nursery is situated next door to Whiteacres Medical centre, just off the B4208 Townsend Way.

The nursery is accessible via Sandy’s Road.

There is ample parking available.

What Being a Nursery Room Leader Involves

As a Nursery Room Leader, you will work alongside the Nursery Manager to lead and inspire your team while delivering exceptional care and education.

  • Leading and mentoring the team to provide high-quality early years education with passion and energy.
  • Supporting the Nursery Manager to ensure smooth nursery operations and consistent quality.
  • Acting as a role model by promoting initiative, creativity, and high standards of care.
  • Building strong relationships with families, colleagues, and external agencies to support the best outcomes for children.
  • Overseeing the team’s implementation of the EYFS framework, ensuring engaging learning opportunities.
  • Taking charge of nursery operations in the Nursery Manager’s absence.
  • Encouraging continuous improvement through feedback and supporting professional development.
  • Maintaining a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that meets each child’s needs.
