Pay

£28,516.80 - £28,516.80 per Annum, based on experience (40 hours per week).

About Our Nursery

In the picturesque village of Little Houghton in Northamptonshire, Little Houghton Day Nursery offers a nurturing and enriching environment for your child’s early education.

Situated in a charming rural setting, our nursery provides children with a variety of learning opportunities that allow them to explore their interests and develop their unique talents.

At our nursery we have 3 rooms, baby room which is 0-2 years, toddler room which is 2-3 years, Preschool room which is 3-5 years.

Little Houghton Day Nursery is just to the south of Northampton, off the A428 (Bedford to Northampton Road), next to the local church St Mary The Virgin.

The nursery is only a short drive away from other local villages as well as a bus route called the village hopper which goes to all surrounding villages and to Northampton Bus Station.

Parking is available outside the nursery.

  • Leading and mentoring the team to provide high-quality early years education with passion and energy.
  • Supporting the Nursery Manager to ensure smooth nursery operations and consistent quality.
  • Acting as a role model by promoting initiative, creativity, and high standards of care.
  • Building strong relationships with families, colleagues, and external agencies to support the best outcomes for children.
  • Overseeing the team’s implementation of the EYFS framework, ensuring engaging learning opportunities.
  • Taking charge of nursery operations in the Nursery Manager’s absence.
  • Encouraging continuous improvement through feedback and supporting professional development.
  • Maintaining a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that meets each child’s needs.
