At our small, stunning old‑school setting at Little Houghton Day Nursery, we’re seeking a passionate Nursery Manager to guide our team and deliver exceptional care and education. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills, an excellent understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), and a genuine passion for supporting children’s development and wellbeing. Must hold a Level 3 Early Years qualification or higher and have previous managerial experience. Please note: we are unable to offer sponsorship for this role.

Pay From £33,072 per annum – based on experience (40 hours per week).
Working Hours 37.5 to 40 hours per week – Monday to Friday – flexible shifts either 4 full days 8 am‑6 pm (40 hrs) or 3 full days and 2 half days (37.5 hrs).

What Being a Nursery Manager Involves

About Our Nursery
In the picturesque village of Little Houghton in Northamptonshire, Little Houghton Day Nursery offers a nurturing and enriching environment for early education. Situated in a charming rural setting, our nursery provides children with a variety of learning opportunities that allow them to explore interests and develop unique talents. We have three rooms: a baby room (0‑2 years), a toddler room (2‑3 years), and a preschool room (3‑5 years). The nursery is situated south of Northampton, off the A428 (Bedford to Northampton Road), next to St Mary the Virgin church. It is near other local villages and the bus route “village hopper” to surrounding villages and Northampton Bus Station. Parking is available outside the nursery.
