About Our Nursery: Our organic nursery has a cherished status in the village of Haxby and surrounding York villages. Our two beautiful buildings were refurbished in 2019, and we now care for 60 children each day. At Little Green Rascals Haxby we’ve created an environment that mimics ‘bringing the outside in’, embracing nature and embedding it into our everyday learning. We have a little secret garden away from the noise of all the rooms the children enjoy mini garden sessions. This is where we grow tomatoes, cucumbers, strawberries and peas. Set in the heart of Haxby, on the outskirts of York, we’re just a short walk away from the main high street.
