To be considered for this role, you must hold a Level 3 Early Years qualification or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

Pay: £27,565 per Annum (38 hours per week) / £13.95 per hour

About our Nursery: Located in River, in the outskirts of Dover off the A256, we are surrounded by beautiful countryside, inspiring our free-flow indoor to outdoor environment. We have two open-plan ground floor rooms with plenty of space. Our garden has a large area to explore too. We use the natural environment to enhance our children’s experiences of the natural world whether it is letting off steam in the grassed area or riding bikes and using balance beams in the flat rubber tarmac area. Free parking is available for our team too.
What being a Nursery Room Leader involves:
- Leading and mentoring the team to provide high-quality early years education with passion and energy.
- Supporting the Nursery Manager to ensure smooth nursery operations and consistent quality.
- Acting as a role model by promoting initiative, creativity, and high standards of care.
- Building strong relationships with families, colleagues, and external agencies to support the best outcomes for children.
- Overseeing the team’s implementation of the EYFS framework, ensuring engaging learning opportunities.
- Taking charge of nursery operations in the Nursery Manager’s absence.
- Encouraging continuous improvement through feedback and supporting professional development.
- Maintaining a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that meets each child’s needs.
