We're looking for an Enquiries Assistant who thrives in a busy environment, enjoys building relationships with people and takes pride in delivering an outstanding customer experience. This is a role for someone who is highly organised, confident communicating by phone and email, and will enjoy helping families through an important decision.
This is a 12-month maternity cover opportunity, reporting to our Head of Marketing and working closely with our Nursery Managers and wider Enquiries team, playing a key role in ensuring every family receives a seamless journey from their first enquiry through to registration.
About the Role
This is a varied, hands-on role combining customer service, administration and sales support. You'll be responsible for progressing registrations, maintaining accurate records across our systems and supporting Nursery Managers with warm enquiries already in our admissions pipeline. Whether you're arranging nursery tours, following up with prospective parents or processing registrations, you'll play an important part in helping families find the right nursery while supporting occupancy across our nurseries.
What You'll Do
- Manage new registrations, ensuring information is accurately processed and maintained across our internal systems
- Liaise with Nursery Managers to confirm availability and requested booking patterns before progressing registrations
- Support Nursery Managers with warm enquiries by arranging nursery tours and following up with prospective parents throughout their admissions journey
- Build positive relationships with families by providing a friendly, professional and responsive service by telephone and email
- Maintain accurate records and update HubSpot throughout each stage of the enquiry and registration process
- Support Nursery Managers with the HubSpot enquiry pipeline and provide day-to-day guidance on enquiry processes
- Contribute to continuous improvements by identifying opportunities to enhance customer experience, enquiry handling and internal processes
- Provide administrative and ad hoc support to the wider Enquiries team as required.
About You
You'll need:
- Experience in a customer service, administration or sales support role
- Excellent communication skills with a warm, professional telephone manner
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Confidence managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Confidence using a range of computer systems and learning new technology
- A proactive, solution-focused approach and the ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams
- Confidence building rapport with prospective parents and handling enquiries with empathy and professionalism.
